Job Description

Network Rail is offering a Rail Infrastructure Apprenticeship for individuals interested in building a career in railway engineering and infrastructure maintenance. The programme combines classroom training with hands-on experience working alongside skilled engineers.

Working Hours:
Full-time 37.5 hours per week, including practical training and site assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with inspection and maintenance of railway infrastructure
Support engineering teams on maintenance projects
Learn track maintenance and safety procedures
Help prepare technical reports and maintenance logs
Participate in structured training modules
Software / Tools:

Rail asset management systems
Engineering inspection tools
Microsoft Office for documentation
Technical Skills Developed:
