Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking Mechanical Design Engineers to support defence and aerospace engineering projects. You will contribute to design development, engineering analysis, and product testing while working with multidisciplinary teams.

This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced defence technologies and complex engineering systems.

Working Hours:
Full-time role up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop mechanical designs and engineering drawings
Perform engineering calculations and simulations
Support prototype testing and design validation
Maintain engineering documentation and reports
Collaborate with manufacturing and project teams
Ensure designs comply with safety and industry standards
Software / Tools:

CAD software (SolidWorks / CATIA)
MATLAB
Engineering simulation tools
Microsoft Excel

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
