Siemens UK is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Assistant to provide first-line technical support to employees. You will troubleshoot technical issues, assist with system setup, and ensure smooth IT operations across departments.
Working Hours:
Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line IT support for hardware and software issues
Install and configure desktops, laptops, and peripherals
Manage user accounts and permissions
Log incidents and maintain support documentation
Assist with system upgrades and maintenance
Software / Tools:
Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
Microsoft 365
Active Directory
IT ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar)
Technical Skills:
Desktop troubleshooting
Basic networking knowledge
User account management
Soft Skills:
Problem solving
Communication and customer support skills
Organisation and time management
Patience and attention to detail
Education:
Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
