Network Rail is seeking Graduate Civil Engineers to support the maintenance and enhancement of the UK’s rail infrastructure. This field-based role is based out of our Milton Keynes route office and involves site visits across the rail network.
Role Overview
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will work on track, bridges, tunnels, and structural assets, ensuring safe and efficient railway operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support inspection and maintenance of railway structures
• Assist in planning track renewals and upgrades
• Conduct structural assessments and site surveys
• Analyse engineering data and prepare technical reports
• Collaborate with contractors and safety teams
• Ensure compliance with railway safety standards
• Participate in project planning and risk assessments

Required Qualifications
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Understanding of construction or infrastructure projects
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel to sites
