KPMG is recruiting an ESG Advisory Manager based in Manchester. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) operating under a hybrid arrangement (3 office or client-site days and 2 remote days).
Role Overview
You will advise corporate clients on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks, sustainability reporting, and climate risk strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop ESG strategy frameworks
Conduct carbon footprint assessments
Support TCFD reporting initiatives
Advise on sustainability compliance
Conduct climate risk analysis
Review ESG data governance controls
Lead ESG audit engagements
Develop sustainability roadmaps
Support net-zero transition plans
Prepare client presentations and reports
Liaise with regulatory bodies
Conduct stakeholder engagement workshops
Monitor emerging ESG regulations
Support green finance initiatives
Education & Certifications
Mandatory:
Degree in Sustainability, Finance, or Environmental Science
Optional:
IEMA membership
Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv)
ESG reporting certification
