BT Group is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our security operations team. In this role, you will monitor networks for security threats, analyse potential vulnerabilities, and implement security measures to protect company infrastructure and client data.

You will work with internal IT teams to maintain strong cybersecurity standards across systems and networks.

Working Hours:
Full-time role up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor security alerts and incident reports
Investigate potential security breaches and threats
Implement vulnerability assessments and mitigation strategies
Maintain documentation for security policies and procedures
Support security audits and compliance checks
Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen system security
Software / Tools:

SIEM tools (Splunk / IBM QRadar)
Network monitoring tools
Vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus / Qualys)
Python or scripting tools
